These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of RaceTrails.com and the RaceTrails platform.

By accessing the website, creating an account, or using RaceTrails, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are using the service on behalf of a company, team, or other organisation, you represent that you have authority to accept these Terms on its behalf.

The Service

RaceTrails provides software for motorsport teams and related operations to manage vehicles, assemblies, assembly parts, usage records, service logs, and related workflow data.

We may update, improve, modify, or discontinue parts of the service from time to time, including features, interfaces, integrations, or availability.

Accounts And Team Access

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for activity carried out through your account.

If you create or manage a team workspace, you are responsible for assigning appropriate access, keeping user lists current, and ensuring that data entered into your workspace is appropriate and lawful.

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep that information reasonably up to date.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use RaceTrails in a way that violates applicable law or the rights of others
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the platform, other accounts, or related systems
• Interfere with the security, integrity, or availability of the service
• Upload malicious code, harmful content, or data designed to disrupt the service
• Copy, reverse engineer, scrape, or exploit the platform except where allowed by law or with our written permission
• Use the service to store or process information you do not have the right to submit

We may suspend or restrict access if we reasonably believe the service is being misused or that the platform, users, or our rights are at risk.

Customer Data

You and your organisation retain responsibility for the data you submit to RaceTrails, including operational records, service history entries, team information, and uploaded or entered content.

You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the platform and your submission of data comply with applicable law, internal permissions, and any obligations you owe to third parties.

Subscriptions And Billing

Some parts of RaceTrails may require a paid subscription.

Where paid plans apply, pricing, billing intervals, renewal terms, and payment conditions will be presented at checkout or within the relevant account area. Payments may be processed through third-party billing or payment providers. Your continued use of paid features may depend on timely payment.

We may change pricing or plan structure in the future, but material changes will apply prospectively.

Intellectual Property

RaceTrails, including the website, platform, software, branding, and related materials, is owned by or licensed to us and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Subject to these Terms and any applicable subscription, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the service for your internal business or team operations.

Availability And Support

We aim to keep RaceTrails available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Maintenance, updates, third-party outages, security events, or other factors may affect availability from time to time.

Any support commitments, service expectations, or plan-specific entitlements will depend on the offering made available to your account.

Disclaimers

RaceTrails is provided on an as available and as provided basis to the extent permitted by law.

While the platform is designed to help teams maintain more accurate operational records, you remain responsible for reviewing your own data, maintenance decisions, compliance obligations, and workshop processes.

Limitation Of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RaceTrails and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, use, or data arising from or related to your use of the service.

To the extent liability cannot be excluded, our total liability relating to the service will be limited to the amount paid by you for the relevant paid services during the period permitted by applicable law.

Termination

You may stop using RaceTrails at any time.

We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms, fail to pay applicable fees, create risk for the platform or other users, or where continued access is no longer commercially or legally feasible.

Any provisions that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply, including provisions relating to intellectual property, liability, disclaimers, billing obligations, and dispute-related matters.

Refunds And Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through the billing portal available in your RaceTrails account.

When you cancel, your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period. You will not be charged for the next period. There is no partial refund for unused time within a billing period.

If you are eligible for a refund under applicable law or at our discretion, refunds are processed through Paddle, our payment provider. Refund requests should be directed to us through the contact options on RaceTrails.com, and we will coordinate the refund with Paddle where applicable. Processing times depend on your payment provider and may take up to 10 business days.

After cancellation, your team workspace and data remain in the platform for a limited retention period. During this time you may export your data. After the retention period expires, data associated with your account may be permanently removed.

If your subscription is cancelled due to non-payment, Paddle may attempt to recover the outstanding amount through its dunning process before the subscription is terminated.

Changes To These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will be published on this page. Your continued use of RaceTrails after updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
